Heritage Covenant Church is a conservative, confessionally Reformed church plant serving Spokane, North Spokane, Deer Park, and the Inland Northwest.We are rooted in historic Reformed theology, centered on the ordinary means of grace—Word, Sacraments, and Prayer—and committed to building a heritage of faith for future generations.
Our desire is to see households, individuals, and families formed by the gospel of Jesus Christ through biblical preaching, reverent worship, covenant discipleship, Christian hospitality, and life together under the authority of God’s Word.

A Reformed church is anchored in the authority of Holy Scripture.
At Heritage Covenant Church, we believe the Bible is the inspired, sufficient, and final authority for faith and life. Our doctrine, worship, discipleship, family life, and mission must be ordered by God’s Word rather than by cultural trends, personal preference, or religious novelty.

Reformed theology is also marked by clear, Christ-centered gospel proclamation. We confess that salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, according to Scripture alone, to the glory of God alone. The gospel is not a vague religious message or a call to self-improvement. It is the good news that Jesus Christ saves sinners through His perfect life, substitutionary death, victorious resurrection, and ongoing reign.

A confessional Reformed church also stands in continuity with historic Christianity. Heritage Covenant Church receives the historic Reformed confessions as faithful summaries of biblical doctrine. These confessions help guard the church from theological drift, provide clarity in teaching, and connect us to the faith once delivered to the saints.

Reformed worship and discipleship are shaped by the ordinary means of grace: the preaching of the Word, the administration of the Sacraments, and prayer. We do not believe the church is built by entertainment, consumer programs, or constant reinvention. Why a Reformed Church in the Spokane Area?
Spokane, North Spokane, Deer Park, and the surrounding Inland Northwest continue to grow and change. As new families move into the region and existing communities expand, there is a need for churches that offer more than shallow spirituality, moralism, entertainment, or cultural Christianity.
Growing communities need faithful churches.

Heritage Covenant Church exists to serve this need as a conservative Reformed church plant for Spokane and Deer Park. We are not trying to build a church quickly around hype or personality. We are seeking to build slowly, faithfully, and carefully around Scripture, prayer, discipleship, hospitality, and the ordinary means of grace.

Our aim is long-term faithfulness, not short-term excitement.
We want to see mature disciples formed, households strengthened, children catechized, men prepared for leadership, families practicing hospitality, and believers living faithfully in their homes, vocations, churches, and communities.

We are committed to family discipleship and Christian education. Parents are called to raise their children in the fear and instruction of the Lord, and the church is called to encourage, equip, and support that work.
We are committed to reverent worship. Worship is not a performance or a religious concert. It is the gathered people of God meeting with Him according to His Word.
We are committed to hospitality and community. The Christian life is not meant to be isolated.
