Covenant Women
Discipling Women to impact generations
Discipling women to be grounded enough to resist cultural confusion, wise enough to counsel their own hearts, faithful enough to strengthen their households, relationally healthy enough to bring peace rather than disorder, compassionate enough to walk with suffering women, and mature enough to pass biblical truth and embodied wisdom to generations yet to come.
Covenant Women is a three-year Heritage Life pathway designed to form women in biblical womanhood, Christlike character, relational wisdom, household faithfulness, spiritual friendship, wise care, spiritual motherhood, and generational discipleship.
Alongside The Heritage Way, Covenant Women helps women apply sound doctrine and a biblical worldview within the relationships, responsibilities, and opportunities God has entrusted to them. It prepares women to strengthen their households, serve the church, care wisely for others, disciple younger women, and pass biblical truth and embodied wisdom to future generations.

Yr.1 A Woman Under God
Biblical Womanhood, Wisdom, Self-Counsel, and Sisterhood
Year One establishes a biblical understanding of womanhood while cultivating the wisdom, contentment, self-government, and relational maturity required of a faithful Christian woman.
Participants will consider God’s design for women, the dignity and strength of feminine faithfulness, and the relationship between equal worth and distinct responsibilities. They will learn to recognize the desires, fears, expectations, comparisons, and patterns of the heart that influence their choices and relationships.
This year also addresses common struggles such as anxiety, envy, discontentment, hurt feelings, manipulation, resentment, and relational conflict. Women are equipped to counsel their own hearts with Scripture, receive correction with humility, resist gossip and relational disorder, and cultivate healthy, honest friendships with other women.
The goal is not merely outward conformity to a feminine ideal, but women whose character is shaped by the fear of the Lord, whose confidence rests in Christ, and whose wisdom brings stability, encouragement, and peace to those around them.

Yr.2 Woman In Covenant
Marriage, Peacemaking, Motherhood, Homemaking, and Hospitality
Year Two equips women to apply biblical womanhood within their closest covenant relationships and ordinary spheres of responsibility. Participants will consider how a woman’s wisdom, labor, nurture, influence, and hospitality can strengthen her marriage, household, church, and community.
For married women, the year examines the wife’s calling as a covenant helper, including respect, biblical submission, wise counsel, faithful appeals, communication, and the pursuit of marital unity. Submission is presented as willing faithfulness under God’s ordered design, never as permission for sin, coercion, or abuse.
Women will also develop practical skills for handling disagreement, confession, forgiveness, and reconciliation. Rather than responding through gossip, emotional pressure, withdrawal, accusation, or relational triangles, they will learn to pursue peace through honest speech, careful listening, humility, and biblical love.
The year broadens motherhood beyond biological parenting to include the nurturing and formative influence women exercise throughout the covenant community. Participants will consider how household work, hospitality, beauty, celebration, meals, rest, and ordinary routines can become means of love, discipleship, welcome, and service.
Special attention is also given to the changing relationship with adult children. Women will learn to move from direct parental authority toward prayerful influence, wise counsel, appropriate boundaries, and respect for the households their children establish.
Unmarried women participate fully in this year by applying its principles to household stewardship, hospitality, relational wisdom, spiritual nurture, church service, vocation, and the care of others.

Yr.3 Woman for Others
Word-Centered Service, Spiritual Motherhood, Biblical Care, and Generational Faithfulness
Year Three prepares mature women to use their wisdom, experience, gifts, and relationships for the good of others. Women are equipped to serve from the Word, disciple younger women, care for those who suffer, and strengthen the church through faithful ministry under appropriate pastoral and elder oversight.
Participants will study the Titus 2 calling of older women teaching and encouraging younger women. Spiritual motherhood is presented not as a formal position reserved for a few, but as the ordinary calling of mature women who model godliness, share embodied wisdom, and walk patiently with women in different seasons of life.
The year develops practical skills for mentoring and biblical care. Women will learn to listen carefully, ask wise questions, distinguish suffering from sinful responses, bring Scripture into real struggles, and help others identify faithful next steps. They will also learn the limits of informal counseling, including when concerns should be brought to pastors, elders, physicians, or qualified counselors.
Common areas of care may include anxiety, depression, grief, marriage difficulties, parenting pressures, infertility, loneliness, sexual sin, shame, chronic illness, caregiving, relational conflict, widowhood, and difficult relationships with adult children.
The year concludes with a vision for grandmotherhood, spiritual grandmotherhood, faithful aging, and generational influence. Women are encouraged to preserve testimony, prayer, family wisdom, hospitality, and biblical truth while gradually transferring responsibility to younger women and continuing to serve according to their strength and season.
The goal is to form women who do not merely accumulate knowledge, but become trustworthy spiritual mothers who strengthen others without controlling them, counsel with compassion and truth, serve within the ordered life of the church, and intentionally pass the faith to those who follow.
